GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK EVENT

SUNDAY 9TH JUNE, 1PM TO 5PM

Come and join us in the hall for a free cuppa (hopefully solar heated) and

refreshments as part of the celebrations of the UK’s Great Big Green Week.

Find out the effect of our new solar panels on reducing the hall and shop’s

electricity bill and how the soon to be installed storage batteries will make the

building carbon neutral over the summer months.

Meet our own Ilsington Carbon Cutter, Paul Bloch, who can give help and

support to anyone in the community wanting to reduce their energy

consumption or carbon footprint.

Find out how Ilsington Village Shop is reducing their carbon footprint with

their wide range of locally sourced produce, environmentally friendly goods,

refillable milk and recycling of plastic and egg boxes.

View displays of the work of our Ilsington Wildlife Wardens and join them on a

guided nature trail.
