June 9th Walk- 'Kate's Walk' at Narracombe Wood

Meet at Ilsington Village Hall.

This walk will be less than 2 miles but does involve a

hill in both directions.We will walk down to

Narracombe Wood and explore the wildlife in this

wonderful wet woodland along Liverton Brook.

Lichens, mosses and ferns are very special here. We

will also look for insects, trees and flowers and

discuss the history of the woods. It will be a great

opportunity to share our knowledge.

Please join us and hopefully this will be the first of

many walks exploring the special places of Ilsington

Parish.
